About Courtney

I am currently employed as a research intern at Key Professional Media; the internship is coming to an end August 31, 2009. Before this internship I was an editorial intern for nine months at Minnesota Law & Politics magazine, also part of Key Professional Media. I am now a freelance writer for this publication. I've also done freelance writing for Mpls./St.Paul Magazine, City Pages, and Make Magazine, which you will see on my résumé. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in creative writing and I love to write and edit. I enjoy tracking down stories and people to interview. I also have experience with basic HTML from working on my own web projects, including making videos and photo slideshows. I am a frequent user of social media, such as Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr. I am familiar with Word, Quark, and InDesign.
